<dcterms:abstract xml:lang="fr">Ce travail de thèse a permis d’obtenir une nouvelle famille de métalla-prismes hexaruthénium à partir des zwitterions quinonoïdes pour des applications biologiques. Les zwitterions quinonoïdes possèdent deux groupes fonctionnels, permettant ainsi l’ajout de fonctionnalités au système supramoléculaire afin de moduler leurs propriétés physiques et/ou chimiques, et améliorer l’activité biologique. Plusieurs métalla-prismes ont été testés sur différentes lignées de cellules cancéreuses. L’étude de la capacité d’encapsulation de ces métalla-prismes a été réalisée en utilisant des molécules polyaromatiques comme agent invité. Leur faculté à encapsuler une molécule et l’ouverture de la cage ont été étudiées par différentes méthodes d’analyses.</dcterms:abstract>
<dcterms:abstract xml:lang="en">The aim of this thesis was to obtain a new family of metalla-prisms from quinonoid zwitteirons for biological applications. The quinonoid zwitterions possess two functional groups, adding functionality to the supramolecular systems and enhancing the biological activity of the metalla-assemblies by modifying their physical and/or chemical properties. Several metalla-prisms were tested on cancer cell lines. The encapsulation behavior of these metalla-prisms was determined using polyaromatic compounds as guest molecules. Their ability to encapsulate guests and the opening of the cage under acidic conditions were investigated by different analytic methods.</dcterms:abstract>
