<dcterms:abstract xml:lang="fr">Le développement de la civilisation a toujours été intimement lié à la conception et la construction de structures capables d’améliorer la condition de l’humanité. Aujourd’hui, la course à la miniaturisation conduit les scientifiques au développement de systèmes nanoscopiques toujours plus innovants et complexes. Animés par cette volonté d’innovation, notre équipe s’inscrit dans un cadre de biomimétisme, en étudiant des systèmes pouvant travailler hors équilibre et qui composent majoritairement les machines moléculaires naturelles. Les travaux décrits dans ce manuscrit cherchent à répondre à une problématique majeure dans le domaine des machines moléculaires et plus globalement dans le domaine des nanotechnologies : quelle conception structurale permet de mettre en commun une information ou un mouvement mécanique moléculaire afin d’obtenir un système intelligent répondant à son environnement ? Pour répondre à cette question, dans un premier temps ce manuscrit décrit l’optimisation synthétique puis technique d’actuation du moteur moléculaire. De ce travail préliminaire découle l’intégration de la machine polyfonctionnalisable dans de nombreux systèmes complexes : réseau covalent contractile et réversible, réseaux réticulé d’unités supramoléculaires, auto-assemblage supramoléculaire, utilisation et quantification de la force générée par méchanotransduction d’un moteur moléculaire isolé. L’ensemble des résultats développés dans ce manuscrit fournissent un support technique et conceptuel dans l’élaboration de nouveau matériaux complexes et intelligents.</dcterms:abstract>
<dcterms:abstract xml:lang="en">The development of civilization has always been closely linked to the design and construction of structures capable of improving the condition of humanity. Today, the race to miniaturize is leading scientists to develop increasingly innovative and complex nanoscopic systems. Driven by this desire for innovation, our team is part of a biomimethics framework, by studying systems that can work out of equilibrium and that mainly compose the natural molecular machines. The works described in this manuscript aim to answer a major problem in the field of molecular machines and more generally in the field of nanotechnologies: what structural design makes it possible to combine molecular mechanical information or movement in order to obtain an intelligent system that responds to its environment? To answer this question, this manuscript first describes the synthetic and then the technical optimization of the molecular motor actuation. From this preliminary work results the integration of the polyfunctionalizable machine into many complex systems: contractile and reversible covalent network, cross-linked networks of supramolecular units, supramolecular self-assembly, use and quantification of the force generated by mechanotransduction of an isolated molecular motor. The set of results developed in this manuscript provides technical and conceptual support in the development of new complex and intelligent materials.</dcterms:abstract>
