Si l’accession à un poste politique était liée à l’engagement dans les partis, l’hybridité des profils a déplacé le centre d’intérêt politique des populations. Ne faisant plus confiance aux acteurs traditionnels, de nouvelles formes de sociabilité politique basées sur des liens de proximité (les associations sportives, religieuses, communautaires et villageoises) et de spiritualité refont surface. Ce sont justement ces nouveaux espaces polysémiques que nous questionnons sur le plan local. Ayant comme objectif la compréhension de la place des sports fédérés (un ensemble de pratiques sportives auto-organisées en associations totalement informelles évoluant au côté des anciennes fédérations sportives classiques) dans la socialisation des élites politiques de Bamako, nous analysons les trajectoires de 17 élites politiques à partir de : fouilles documentaires, réseaux sociaux, récit de vie, coupures de presse, observation non participante et entretiens avec l’entourage des élites. L’analyse des profils révèle trois axes : l’émergence des élites politiques dans et par les sports fédérés, la reproduction politique dans et par les sports fédérés et la réappropriation politique dans et par les sports fédérés. From the advent of democracy in 1992 to today, the Malian political space has been constantly evolving. If the accession to a political position was linked to political commitment (in the parties), the hybridity of political actors has shifted the political interest of the populations. No longer trusting traditional politics (from political parties), new forms of political sociability based on links of proximity (sports, religious, community and village associations) and spirituality are resurfacing. It is precisely on these new political spaces that we are questioning on the local level. With the objective of understanding the place of federated sports (set of self-organized sporting practices in totally informal associations evolving alongside the former classical sports federations.) in the socialization of the political elites of Bamako, we analyze the trajectories of 18 political elites from : documentary excavations, social networks, life stories, clippings, observation non-participant and the interview with the entourage of elites. The analysis of the different profiles reveals three axes : the emergence of the political elites in and by the federated sports, the political reproduction in and by the federated sports and the political reappropriation in and by federated sports. The results first highlight the omnipresence of federated sports in all socialization trajectories, because they constitute a mass object. These mass activities are mainly used in their playful form from a traditional logic which is that of having to teach the youngest good manners and the feeling of preserving social achievements.
