Comme il commence sa carrière philosophique en tant que phénoménologue, nous traitons principalement de ses trois textes portant sur la phénoménologie d’Edmund Husserl. Le problème du temps constitue le fil conducteur de cette thèse. Il est possible de dire que Derrida élabore sa propre pensée en s’expliquant avec la notion phénoménologique du temps. Nous tentons de conceptualiser son idée singulière du temps, tout en prenant en compte l’impossibilité d’une telle conceptualisation. Or, ce travail ne se limite pas à confirmer rétroactivement sa philosophie de jeunesse. En saisissant la déconstruction à l’état naissant, nous cherchons aussi à remettre en question la « déconstruction de la métaphysique » telle qu’on la comprend d’ordinaire. Il ne s’agit pas du dépassement une fois pour toutes de la métaphysique de la présence, mais de la complicité fatale entre le désir métaphysique et la décision, malgré tout, de le déconstruire. The aim of our thesis is to shed light on the development of Jacques Derrida’s thought in his writings of the 1950s and 1960s, that is the “genesis of deconstruction”. As he began his philosophical career as a phenomenologist, we will deal mainly with his three works on the phenomenology of Edmund Husserl. The problem of time is the guiding theme of this thesis. It is possible to say that Derrida elaborates his own thought by having it out with the phenomenological notion of time. We attempt to conceptualize his singular idea of time, while taking into account the impossibility of such a conceptualization. However, this work is not limited to the retroactive analysis of his youthful philosophy. We also seek to reexamine the well-known “deconstruction of the metaphysics” by clarifying the nascent deconstruction. It is not a question of overcoming once and for all the metaphysics of presence, but of the fatal complicity between the metaphysical desire and the decision, nevertheless, to deconstruct it.
