<dcterms:abstract xml:lang="fr">L'accumulation de givre en vol est modélisée en utilisant l'approche novatrice Level-set. La méthode Level-set permet d'éviter les problèmes de remaillage complexe que posent les différents modèles de givrage utilisés par l'industrie. Elle permet de simuler des formes de glace très complexes avec toutes les topographies contraignantes, en particulier les frontières coalescentes ou fortement séparatrices. La méthode Level-set permet une simulation multicouche simple. La frontière solide est traitée par différentes méthodes, de manière implicite ou explicite. La partie solide, l'aile et la glace, est définie par une fonction caractéristique de niveau dans le premier cas, alors que dans le second, l'interface est définie comme une liste de points Lagrangiens. Par conséquent, les conditions aux limites de l'écoulement d'air sont appliquées à travers la turbulence modélisée au niveau de la paroi. D'autre part, le transport des gouttelettes est modélisé par une approche eulérienne IBM-LS, en utilisant une formulation discrète de l'interface.</dcterms:abstract>
<dcterms:abstract xml:lang="en">In-Flight ice accretion is modeled using the Level-Set novel approach. The Level-Set method alleviates concerns of complex remeshing in concurrent ice models used by the industry. It allows the simulation of very complex ice forms with all difficult topographies, namely coalescing interfaces or severely separating ones. The Level-Set method allows a straightforward multi-step simulation. The solid boundary is treated in different methods, implicitly or explicitly. The solid part, wing and ice, is defined via a characteristic level-set function in the former case, and the interface is defined as a list of Lagrangian points in the latter Therefore, the air flow boundary conditions are applied through the turbulencemodeled at the wall. On the other hand, droplet transport is modeled via an IBM-LS Eulerian approach, using a discrete formulation of the interface.</dcterms:abstract>
