<dcterms:abstract xml:lang="fr">La dengue a un impact significatif sur la santé publique globale. Il y a deux millions et demi de personne à risque d’infection au niveau mondial. La dengue est transmise par le moustique Aedes. Ce vecteur peut aussi transmettre le virus Zika. La création d’un vaccin innovant sûr et efficace répondrait à un besoin médical. Le corps principal de cette recherche a commencé en 2011 avec un travail sur un vaccine à particules pseudo-virales. À la suite de l’épidémie de Zika en Amérique du sud, la stratégie développée précédemment pour la dengue a servi de matrice pour l’élaboration de particules pseudo-virales de Zika. Le virus de la dengue et du Zika sont phylogénétiquement proche avec une homologie de 55-58% de la protéine de l’enveloppe. <dcterms:abstract xml:lang="en">Dengue and Zika viral-like particle-based vaccines Dengue Fever has a significant impact on the global public health. Worldwide, two and a half millions of individuals are at risk of infection. Dengue fever is transmitted but the Aedes mosquito. This vector can also transmit Zika virus. A safe and efficacious vaccine against these viruses would address an unmet medical need. The body of this work started in 2011 on Dengue virus Viral like particle (VLP)- based vaccine. Following the Zika outbreak in South America in 2015, the strategy previously developed for dengue virus helped for the elaboration of a VLP-based Zika vaccine.
