Ce commentaire concerne une partie des Tractatus super psalmos d´Hilaire de Poitiers, analysée à travers une approche éminemment textuelle. La taille de l´œuvre et la nature de notre commentaire nous a contraint à axer notre travail à l’Instructio Psalmorum et aux Tr. Ps. 1, 2, 9, 13, 14, 51-69 et 91. En effet, à partir de ladite analyse, nous pouvons proposer une explication — à partir de la composition de l’œuvre — des raisons pour lesquelles Hilaire a commenté ces psaumes.La recherche sur la théologie exprimée dans les Tr. Ps. et sa comparaison avec celle des maîtres alexandrins, nous a permis de mettre en exergue les traits originaux de la pensée de l´évêque de Poitiers et ainsi de préciser les influences non imputables à Origène. Nous avons montré la combinaison magistrale d’Hilaire quant à l´érudition philologique alexandrine (provenant de Origène et d´Eusèbe de Césarée) avec la théologie asiatique des auteurs latins précédents (notamment Tertullien).Finalement, l’étude des citations bibliques donne des informations précieuses sur la version biblique employé par Hilaire et son rapport avec les autres Veteres Latinae.
This commentary deals with a specific part of the Tractatus super Psalmos of Hilary of Poitiers, through an approach founded principally on the texts. The work’s volume and the kind of our commentary forced us to focus our work on the Instructio Psalmorum and Tr. Ps. 1, 2, 9, 13, 14, 51-69 and 91. Indeed, in light of this analysis, we are able to propose an explanation — concerning the composition of the work — based upon the reasons why Hilary commented on these psalms.The research on the theology of the Tr. Ps. and its comparison with that of the Alexandrian masters allowed us to expose the original aspects of the thought of the Bishop of Poitiers as well as to identify influences other than Origen. We have shown how Hilary has combined the Alexandrian philological science (from Origen and Eusebius of Caesarea) with the Asian theology of earlier Latin authors (especially Tertullian).Finally, the study of the Bible quotes provides information about the Bible version used by Hilary and its relationship with other Veteres Latinae.
