Carl Gustav Jung (1875-1961) et la philosophie allemande, retrace la genèse desnotions les plus importantes de l’oeuvre de C.G. Jung et les met en rapport avec les sourcesphilosophiques qui ont nourri et forgé la réflexion du psychologue suisse. Il s’agit de resituer l’oeuvrede Jung dans son évolution historique à partir notamment de la récente publication du Liber Novus,ou Livre Rouge (2009), et de mettre en lumière les sources philosophiques implicites et explicites deses travaux, afin de comprendre dans quelle mesure celles-ci s’inscrivent en réponse aux nombreusesquestions figurant au coeur de la philosophie allemande (de Maître Eckhart jusqu’à Nietzsche) etcomment elles se joignent aux développements théoriques et pratiques de la psychologie de lapremière moitié du XXe siècle. Following the method used in the history of ideas, this research work entitled Principiumindividuationis. Carl Gustav Jung (1875-1961) and German philosophy, traces the genesis of the mostimportant notions in C.G. Jung’s work and relates them to the philosophical sources that nourishedand forged the Swiss psychologist's thinking. The aim is to situate Jung’s work in its historicalevolution, particularly in light of the recent publication of the Liber Novus, or Red Book (2009), andto highlight the implicit and explicit philosophical sources of his work in order to understand theextent to which they are part of the response to the many questions at the heart of Germanphilosophy (from Master Eckhart to Nietzsche), and also look at how they relate to the theoreticaland practical developments of psychology in the first half of the 20th century.
