L’écrit est leur medium pour témoigner d’un vécu et laisser trace. Ce manuscrit, en français et en hébreu, est le fruit d’une écriture doublement responsable : transmettre la tradition juive et répondre aux questions que soulève le contexte. D’un genre éclectique, le texte s’adresse à un lectorat potentiel à définir. L’analyse permet de cerner les intentions des auteurs, d’en dégager le sens dans ses contextes historiques, géographiques, culturels, et de décrypter ses messages. Le corpus révèle la large connaissance herméneutique des auteurs qui n’ont alors accès à aucun livre. Ils expriment leur regard sur la situation, une révolte face à leur condition sociale. Est-ce là un acte de résistance ? Liés à la tradition de transmission, centrale dans la veillée pascale, ces commentaires sont un legs pédagogique toujours actuel. Ils sont chargé d’espoir, malgré tout, en la pérennité d’Israël. Ya’ri Vedichi appartient à L’OEuvre de Mahanayim, patrimoine culturel et artistique dont les composantes s’enrichissent. Ya'ri Vedivshi, an unpublished commentary of the Passover’s Haggadah, was written by the Neher, an Alsatian Jewish family, hidden in France, after the Exodus of 1940. Writing was their medium to testify and leave an imprint of their life. This manuscript, written in French and Hebrew, is defined as responsible in a double meaning: transmitting the Jewish tradition and responding questions raised by the context. The eclectic genre of the text turns to a potential readership to be defined. The historical, geographical, and cultural contextualization allows to identify and enlighten on the intentions of the authors and to decrypt messages of this corpus. The text reveals the wide hermeneutical knowledge of the authors whom, at that time, had no access to books. They wish to express their view of the situation, a revolt against their social condition. Writing, is it an act of Resistance? Linked to the tradition of transmission, key to the Passover’s Seder, these comments are a pedagogical legacy that is still current. Despite the war, they carry hope in the survival of Israel. Ya'ri Vedishi belongs to The Mahanayim’s Creations, a cultural and artistic heritage whose components enrich one another.
