<dcterms:abstract xml:lang="fr">Les observations de la Voie Lactée ont permis de mieux comprendre les relations d'échelle des nuages moléculaires et leur capacité à former des étoiles. Cependant, ces relations ne peuvent être établies dans les galaxies lointaines limitées par la résolution spatiale. Des études ont montré que l'efficacité de la formation stellaire varie au sein d'une même galaxie mais aussi fortement entre galaxies. Dans cette thèse, nous avons étudié des galaxies de champ et d'amas afin de mieux comprendre ces variations. La première partie est consacrée à l'extension d'un modèle analytique visant à reproduire les profils radiaux résolus du gaz et de la SFR pour les galaxies locales à l'échelle du kpc. Nous avons montré que les relations d'échelle que nous avons adoptées sont cohérentes avec les observations, avec de bonnes prédictions pour les facteurs de conversion du gaz et les dispersions de vitesse. En combinant les données multi-longueurs d'onde avec des modèles, nous avons étudié ensuite une région de gaz comprimé de la galaxies d'amis NGC 4654 présentant une densité de surface de gaz atomique et une SFR élevées. La rétroaction stellaire augmente la dispersion de vitesses du gaz et régule ainsi la SFR.</dcterms:abstract>
<dcterms:abstract xml:lang="en">Milky Way observations have provided insight into scaling relations of molecular clouds and their ability to form stars. However, these relations cannot be established in distant galaxies due to the low spatial resolution of the available observations. Previous studies have shown that star-formation efficiency varies within galaxies and strongly between them. In this thesis, we have studied both isolated field and perturbed cluster galaxies to better understand these variations. The first part is dedicated to the extension of an analytical model aiming at reproducing resolved radial profiles of the gas and star-formation for local spiral galaxies at kiloparsec scale. We have shown that our adopted scaling relations are consistent with observations, with good predictions for both gas conversion factors and velocity dispersions. By combining multi-wavelength data with models, we have studied in a second part a compressed gas region of the Virgo cluster galaxy NGC 4654 presenting abnormally high atomic gas surface density and SFR. Stellar feedback increases the gas velocity dispersion and thus regulate the SFR.</dcterms:abstract>
