Elle décrit la déformation d'âge Pléistocène et Holocène le long de pli-failles. L'objectif est de montrer la relation entre la déformation en surface avec la géométrie et le fonctionnement des structures en profondeur. Les résultats s'intègrent dans l'évaluation du risque sismique du Nord de l'Algérie. Le chapitre I, est une présentation du contexte géologique, géodynamique et sismotectonique de la zone d'étude. Le chapitre II détaille les données utilisées et les méthodes appliquées. Le chapitre III est consacré à une description et analyse du soulèvement côtier de la zone de Zemmouri, affectée par le séisme du 21/05/ 2003 Mw 6.8. Le chapitre IV traite de la structure de TAEH et du séisme que son segment central a généré le 22/08/1922 Mw 6.2. Le chapitre V est une comparaison entre les pli-failles du Sahel et d'El Asnam où s'est produite la rupture du 10/10/ 1980 Mw 7.1, en s'appuyant sur une modélisation cinématique et élastique. Nous concluons par une discussion et une conclusion générale de nos principaux résultats ainsi que les perspectives pour ce travail. This thesis consists of six chapters that deal with active tectonics in the Tell Atlas. It describes Pleistocene and Holocene deformation along fault-propagation-folds. The aim is to highlight the relationship between deformation at surface and geometry-behavior of structures at depth. The results are integrated in the evaluation of the seismic risk of Northern Algeria. Chapter I presents the geological, geodynamic and seismotectonic context of the study area. Chapter II details the data used and the methods applied. Chapter III is devoted to a description and analysis of the coastal uplift of the Zemmouri area, affected by 21/05/2003 earthquake Mw 6.8. Chapter IV deals with the TAEH structure and the earthquake that its central segment generated on 22/08/1922 Mw 6.2. Chapter V is a comparison between the Sahel and El Asnam fault-related-folds where the rupture of 10/10/ 1980 Mw 7.1 occurred, based on kinematic and elastic modelling.
