Mais pour comprendre cette œuvre et sa radicalité, il faut connaître dans le détail la vie de l’homme Tolstoï., ce qui est l’objet de la première partie de cette thèse, une analyse biographique sous le prisme de la vie spirituelle. La seconde partie, plus volumineuse, est celle de l’étude théorique de la pensée tolstoïenne. L’étude porte d’abord sur la théologie implicite de Tolstoï, en rupture avec tous les Eglises chrétiennes, mais strictement évangélique, étude réalisée dans une perspective protestante. Suit une analyse de l’anarchisme de Tolstoï, lequel découle complètement de son christianisme. Considéré par beaucoup comme l’inventeur de l’« anarchisme chrétien », il est très marginal, mais très connu, chez les anarchistes La mise en œuvre de ces idées, tentée de son temps par des disciples qu’il ne voulait pas, sous le nom de « tolstoïsme », nous amène à poser la question de l’actualité de cette pensée. Leo Tolstoy, very kwon writer, is also the author of a great work in religious, political and social subjects (beetween 1880 and 1910) wich is quite unknown. This collection is the basis for the theorical reflection about the original nature of this thinking. But, to understand this work and his radicality, it’s necesseray to know the man Tolstoy’s life, in detail, what is the object of the first part of this thesis, a biographic analysis in the spiritual life’s point of view. The second part, most important in her mass, speaks about theoretical study of tolstoian thought. The study is first about Tolstoy’s implicit theology, in breaking with all christian Churches, but strictly evangelical, study realized in a protestant perspective An analysis of Tolstoy’s anarchism follows, from witch follows from in full his .christianity. Considered by a lot as the creator of “Christian Anarchism”, he is very marginal but famous inside libertarian people. The concretization of those ideas, tryed during his life, by disciples he never desired, with the vocable “Tolstoysm”, leads us to ask the question of the contemporary being of this thougt.
