Elle doit être créative et visionnaire : former sérieusement son personnel et investir économiquement, tenant compte du contexte socio-politique et économique de sa mission. L’expérience de l’Église au Congo-Kinshasa, marquée par la mauvaise gestion des biens temporels, dans un État en crises multisectorielles, invite à repenser et à entreprendre autrement la gestion de ces biens. Quelques perspectives susceptibles de contribuer à l’autonomie économique de ces Églises particulières sont proposées : connaissance et application rigoureuse de la loi canonique, civile et conventionnelle dédiée à la gestion des biens diocésains ; usage des documents comptables de base ; lutte contre la corruption et recours à la sanction canonique et civile. Le but est de mettre fin à la dépendance économique, et donc au statut canonique de jeunes Églises des diocèses congolais, et d’atteindre une autonomie de décision et d’action. Faced with the demands of evangelization, the Church must have substantial human, material and financial resources. It must be creative and visionary : seriously train its personnel and invest economically, taking into account the socio-political and economic context of its mission. The experience of the Church in Congo-Kinshasa, marked by the mismanagement of temporal goods in a state in multisectoral crisis, invites us to rethink and undertake the management of these goods in a different way. Some perspectives likely to contribute to the economic autonomy of these particular Churches are proposed : knowledge and rigorous application of the canonical, civil and conventional law dedicated to the management of diocesan goods ; use of basic accounting documents ; fight against corruption and recourse to canonical and civil sanctions. The goal is to put an end to economic dependence, and therefore to the canonical status of young Churches in the Congolese dioceses, and to achieve autonomy of decision and action.
