La crédibilité et la pertinence de leur message en dépendent. Il s’agit de déceler dans la réalité de la famille africaine et dans le concept de l’Église-Famille de Dieu, des éléments clé capables de nous permettre de déterminer un visage des prêtres Ivoiriens pour une Église plus proche des hommes et femmes de la Côte d’Ivoire. Nous pensons que le point d’ancrage sur lequel nous pourrions nous appuyer est la fraternité. Ainsi, pour nous, l’image des prêtres « frères » serait plus expressive dans l’optique d’une théologie de l’Église-Famille de Dieu en Côte d’Ivoire car la dimension fraternelle de leur ministère les inciterait à se mettre au service du peuple de Dieu. Notre raisonnement pourrait se solder par l’induction d’une possible ecclésiologie africaine du ministère des prêtres. Cette ecclésiologie pourrait être perçue comme une ecclésiologie de l’accompagnement de frères et soeurs en marche vers le Père, comportant la notion de mouvement, de dynamisme. L’Église d’Afrique est appelée à devenir une Église de la proximité, témoin de la présence de Dieu au coeur de l’humanité. This work aims to be the first systematic and ecclesiological approach to the ministry of Ivorian priests with a view to necessary self-criticism. The credibility and relevance of their message depend on it. It is a question of detecting in the reality of the African family and in the concept of the Church- Family of God, key elements capable of enabling us to determine a face of the Ivorian priests for a Church closer to the men and women of the Côte d'Ivoire.
