C’est le cas des œuvres d’Alexis Jenni, de Lydie Salvayre et de Mathieu Belezi. Dans une approche systémique, ce travail questionne la mémoire, l’histoire et la littérature. En analysant le mouvement qui conduit des origines du roman historique à l’avènement des fictions historiques contemporaines, et en montrant que ces fictions constituent un vecteur de la mémoire et/ou des mémoires, notre étude débouche sur l’idée que ces récits peuvent être perçus comme une autre histoire possible. The twenty-first century is characterized by the rise of fictions that propose a reconstruction of certain historical events – Colonization and War in Algeria, Civil War in Spain and Nazi Occupation – through the writing of memory based on the fictional representation of characters’ testimonies. This is the case of the works of Alexis Jenni, Lydie Salvayre and Mathieu Belezi. In a systemic approach, this work questions memory, history and literature. By analysing the movement that leads from the origins of the historical novel to the advent of contemporary historical fictions, and by showing that these fictions constitute a vector of memory and/or memories, our study leads to the idea that these narratives can be perceived as another possible history.
