Cette thèse a été réalisée en partenariat avec l’entreprise SOGEFI, qui avait besoin de développer une pompe de puissance moyenne (80W hydraulique). L’un des problèmes régulièrement rencontrés lors de la conception de ce type de pompe est la gestion de l’effort axial hydraulique exercé sur le rotor. Cet effort peut diminuer la durée de vie de la pompe et en augmenter le coût. Nous avons donc cherché à utiliser un moteur à flux axial à aimants permanents à simple rotor afin d'exploiter l’effort axial magnétique asymétrique de cette structure pour compenser l’effort axial hydraulique de la pompe. Nous avons ainsi développé un modèle de l’effort axial magnétique du moteur ainsi qu’un système de commande permettant de contrôler cet effort. In this thesis, we studied the use of an axial flux permanent magnet motor (AFPM) in a pump intended for the cooling circuit of electric vehicle batteries. This thesis was carried out in partnership with the company SOGEFI, which required the development of a medium-power pump (80W hydraulic). One of the problems frequently encountered during the design of this type of pump is the management of the hydraulic axial force exerted on the rotor. This force can reduce the pump's lifespan and increase its cost. We therefore sought to use a single-rotor axial flux permanent magnet motor to exploit the asymmetric magnetic axial force of this structure to compensate for the pump's hydraulic axial force. We thus developed a model of the motor's magnetic axial force, as well as a control system to manage this force.
