<dcterms:abstract xml:lang="fr">Ce travail de thèse se focalise sur les propriétés structurelles et électroniques des liquides ioniques (ILs) et à l'interface ILs/dichalcogénures de métaux de transition bidimensionnels (2D-TMDCs), qui sont actuellement les matériaux ciblés pour la réalisation de transistors à effet de champ à haute performance de nouvelle génération.Ma thèse s’organise en trois volet principales, dédiés, dans l’ordre, (i) à la compréhension des propriétés structurales, dynamiques et électroniques du liquide ionique 1-Ethyl-3-méthylimidazolium bis(trifluorométhylsulfonyl)imide ([EMIM][TFSI]), (ii) l’ intégration de ce liquide sur un substrat solide de WSe2 couramment utilisé pour la réalisation d’interfaces dans les dispositifs mentionnés plus haut, y compris les effets induites par la présence de défauts structurels et en cas d’application d’un champ électrique externe, et enfin (iii) la gélification induite par l’introduction d’un polymière PS-PMMA-PS dans le liquide ionique.</dcterms:abstract>
<dcterms:abstract xml:lang="en">The objective of this study is to understand the structural and electronic properties inside the ionic liquids (ILs) and at the ILs/two-dimensional transition metal dichalcogenides (2D-TMDCs) interface to realize the next generation high-performance field effect transistors.In this thesis, combining classical molecular dynamics (CMD) and first-principles (FPMD) simulations, we could achieve a detailed atomic-scale information of this class of systems, starting from bulk 1-Ethyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide ([EMIM][TFSI]), then focusing on the [EMIM][TFSI]/WSe2 interface, and finally combining IL with PS-PMMA-PS polymer to produce a gel for its realistic usage.Long-lasting FPMD simulations of [EMIM][TFSI] have given its detailed properties. An analysis of the electronic structure allows to rationalize the nature of its structure. The [EMIM][TFSI]/WSe2 interface modeling discloses access to the atomic and electronic distribution changes in the absence or presence of an electric field. Additional investigations on ionic gels shows the nature of the interactions between ILs and polymers.</dcterms:abstract>
