<dcterms:abstract xml:lang="fr">Les systèmes conventionnels de protections respiratoires vis-à-vis des agents chimiques de guerre (ACG) consistent en des filtres d’adsorption. L’absence de propriétés de dégradation des adsorbants mène à la saturation de leurs sites d’adsorption et à leur obsolescence dans le temps. L’idée novatrice ici porte sur le développement de systèmes de filtration de l’air vis-à-vis d’AGC, capables de les dégrader en associant la filtration à la photocatalyse. Notre stratégie se focalise sur le couplage d’un composé photocatalytiquement actif (TiO2), à une espèce adsorbante, afin d’augmenter les capacités d’adsorption des composites résultants. L’étude a débuté par l’élaboration de composites TiO2/charbon actif (CA), notamment l’identification du CA précurseur, du traitement thermique de synthèse et de la teneur en CA les plus adaptés pour l’abattement des analogues respectifs du Sarin et de l’Ypérite, le DMMP et le DES. Les mécanismes réactionnels respectifs ont été investigués et discutés. Enfin, un regard a été porté sur le couplage entre le TiO2 nanostructuré (nanoparticules et nanofeuillets) et l’UiO-66 appliqué à l’abattement du DMMP.</dcterms:abstract>
<dcterms:abstract xml:lang="en">The conventional respiratory protections towards chemical warfare agents (CWA) consist in adsorption filters. The absence of degradation abilities of the adsorbent used in these filters leads to the saturation of their adsorption sites and to their obsolescence over time. The innovative idea here is to develop new air filtration systems towards CWA, capable of degradation by the association of filtration and photocatalysis. Our strategy is focused on the coupling of an active photocatalytic compound (TiO2), to adsorbent species, in order to increase the adsorption capacities of the resulting composites. Our study was firstly conducted on the elaboration of TiO2/activated carbons (AC) composites, in particular the identification of the AC precursor, the thermal treatment of the synthesis and the amount of AC the most adapted to the abatement of the respective analogs of the Sarin and the Ypérite, DMMP and DES. Respective reaction mechanisms were also investigated and discussed. The study continued with the coupling of nanostructured TiO2 (nanoparticles and nanosheets) and UiO-66 applied to the abatement of DMMP.</dcterms:abstract>
