<dcterms:abstract xml:lang="fr">Karin Boye, figure emblématique du modernisme littéraire suédois du début du XXe siècle, se distingue par une œuvre poétique à la fois lyrique et introspective, centrée sur une quête spirituelle mêlant angoisse et espoir. Face au rationalisme et au positivisme de son époque, Boye cherche à réenchanter le monde par une vision mystique et sacramentelle, influencée par ses racines protestantes et les bouleversements historiques tels que les guerres mondiales et les révolutions industrielles. Sa poésie explore l’inconscient et l’identité, imprégnée de son expérience de la psychanalyse, tout en s’affranchissant des dogmes religieux traditionnels. Elle conçoit le sacré comme enfoui en chaque individu, combinant des éléments religieux et profanes à travers un syncrétisme mêlant christianisme et traditions orientales. Ses poèmes, teintés d’intertextualité biblique, oscillent entre passion et transcendance, où le « je » poétique devient une exploration personnelle et universelle de la condition humaine. L’introspection chez Boye, influencée par le piétisme protestant, Kierkegaard et Saint Augustin, se manifeste sous la forme d’une esthétique de la confession. Ses textes expriment des thèmes tels que le péché, la rédemption et la contemplation, dans un dialogue entre inconscient et expression lyrique. <dcterms:abstract xml:lang="en">Karin Boye, an emblematic figure of Swedish literary modernism in the early 20th century, is distinguished by her lyrical, introspective poetic work, centered on a spiritual quest combining anguish and hope. In the face of the rationalism and positivism of her time, Boye sought to re-enchant the world with a mystical, sacramental vision, influenced by her Protestant roots and historical upheavals such as the world wars and industrial revolutions. Her poetry explores the unconscious and identity, steeped in her experience of psychoanalysis, while breaking free from traditional religious dogma. She sees the sacred as buried within each individual, combining religious and secular elements through a syncretism that blends Christianity and Eastern traditions. Her poems, tinged with biblical intertextuality, oscillate between passion and transcendence, where the poetic “I” becomes a personal and universal exploration of the human condition. Boye's introspection, influenced by Protestant pietism, Kierkegaard and Saint Augustine, takes the form of an aesthetic of confession. Her texts express themes such as sin, redemption and contemplation, in a dialogue between the unconscious and lyrical expression. This introspection, both religious and existential, reveals a tension between reason and passion, marking a moral and purifying quest.
