<dcterms:abstract xml:lang="fr">Une source portable et fiable de formaldéhyde a été mise au point et plusieurs solutions analytiques pour la quantification du formaldéhyde dans l’air ont été développées puis évaluées via des mesures en laboratoire et sur le terrain. Une méthode d’analyse HPLC a été mise au point pour rendre possible l’utilisation d’une HPLC transportable sur le terrain et être conforme à la norme actuelle pour l’analyse du formaldéhyde. Deux analyseurs pour de la mesure en continu ont été évalués en termes de performances analytique et non-analytique : un analyseur portable basé sur de l’échantillonnage en continu, la réaction de Hantzsch et de la détection fluorescence ; et un chromatographe en phase gazeuse transportable équipé d’un méthaniseur et d’un détecteur à ionisation de flamme. Ces travaux ont mené à la conception d’un analyseur transportable basé sur un échantillonnage alterné utilisant le principe de Hantzsch adapté à des mesures en air intérieur et en air extérieur et fonctionnant de manière autonome pendant plusieurs mois.</dcterms:abstract>
<dcterms:abstract xml:lang="en">A portable and reliable source of formaldehyde has been developed, and several analytical solutions for the quantification of formaldehyde in air have been developed and evaluated using laboratory and field measurements. An HPLC analysis method was developed to enable the use of a transportable HPLC on-field while complying with the current standard for formaldehyde monitoring. Two analysers for continuous measurement were evaluated in terms of analytical and non-analytical performance: a portable analyser based on continuous sampling, Hantzsch reaction and fluorescence detection, and a transportable gas chromatograph equipped with a methanizer and flame ionisation detector. This work led to the design of a transportable analyser based on alternating sampling and using the Hantzsch principle. This sensible instrument could accurately and autonomously monitor formaldehyde in indoor and outdoor air for several months.</dcterms:abstract>
