<dcterms:abstract xml:lang="fr">La menace NRBC (Nucléaire, Radiologique, Biologique, Chimique) est indéniablement présente dans ce monde complexe, sous tension. Ce projet s’est donc intéressé à la réalisation de textiles associant à la fois des propriétés hydro-oléophobes et auto-décontaminantes, pouvant être utilisés comme couche externe des tenues de protection NRBC, afin de limiter les phénomènes de contamination croisée, lors de leur retrait. La méthode de dépôt Layer-by-Layer a ainsi pu être utilisée pour contrôler le dépôt de nanoparticules photocatalytiques de TiO2, en surface des fibres. Les textiles photocatalytiques résultants ont alors été évalués en photocatalyse pour la dégradation d’un analogue d’agent organophosphoré, le Dimethyl méthylphosphonate (DMMP). Par la suite, ces nanoparticules de TiO2 ont été combinées à des matériaux de type Metal Organic Frameworks (MOF), présentant des propriétés d’adsorption complémentaires aux propriétés photocatalytiques du TiO2. Enfin, les enjeux liés au transfert de la technologie à plus grande échelle ont été évalués. en français.</dcterms:abstract>
<dcterms:abstract xml:lang="en">The CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear) threat is undeniably present in this complex, strained world. This project is therefore focused on the development of textiles that exhibit both hydro-oleophobic and self-decontaminating properties, and that can be used as the outer layer of CBRN protective clothing to limit cross-contamination, when removing the clothing. The Layer-by-Layer deposition method was used to control the deposition of photocatalytic TiO2 nanoparticles on the surface of the textile fibers. The resulting photocatalytic textiles were then evaluated in photocatalysis for the degradation of an organophosphorus agent analogs, the Dimethyl methylphosphonate (DMMP). These TiO2 nanoparticles were then combined with Metal Organic Frameworks (MOF) materials, which have adsorption properties that complement the photocatalytic properties of TiO2. Finally, the challenges involved in transferring the technology to a larger scale were assessed en anglais.</dcterms:abstract>
