Par une approche qualitative à la fois compréhensive, réflexive et critique, elle s’intéresse aux différentes modalités de sa conception, en co-construction avec ses destinataires (les enfants et leurs médiateurs adultes, enseignants et animateurs). Du point de vue des acteurs, l’enjeu porte sur l’efficacité du programme, attendue plus probante du fait de la collaboration des personnes concernées. Quant au regard ethnologique, il s’intéresse ici aux formes, aux messages et aux relations liées à la co-construction. Cette monographie tente de saisir les incidences de la participation sur la fabrication de la prévention. L’enquête décrit le programme, de sa genèse à sa fin précipitée, en passant par la sélection des contenus. L’immersion par observation participante au sein de l’équipe pluridisciplinaire pendant deux ans et demi montre que la co-construction se déploie, certes, au gré des ateliers de co-construction, mais surtout au sein des réunions d’équipe. En ce sens, l’attention portée au travail de l’équipe déplace la dimension participative du côté de ceux qui la rendent possible, qui en édictent les règles et dont dépend le pouvoir d’agir des destinataires. This thesis is an ethnographic study about the development process of a health promotion program over the pollution’s effects of pollution on the human body. It focuses on children aged 8-11, in France. It uses a qualitative approach that is at once comprehensive, reflective and critical and looks at the different ways in which the program was designed, in co-construction with its intended beneficiaries. The latter are the children and their adult mediators, teachers and organizers. From the actors' point of view, the issue focuses on the effectiveness of the program, which is expected to be more convincing thanks to the collaboration of those involved. From an ethnological point of view, it centers on the forms, messages and relationships involved in co-construction. This essay attempts to grasp the impact of the participation on the production of prevention. The survey describes the program, from its genesis to its hasty end, via the selection of content. Immersion in the multidisciplinary team over a two and a half year period, through participant observation, shows that co-construction takes place not only in co-construction workshops, but above all in team meetings. In this sense, the attention paid to the team's work shifts from the participatory dimension to those who make it possible, those who lay down the rules and those on whom the recipients' power to act depends.
