Corps et automédialité dans l’expérience migratoire s’inscrit dans une démarche autothéorique. Analysant le déplacement comme révélateur d’une crise existentielle et déclencheur d’un processus de transformation, cette recherche articule vécu, pratique artistique et réflexion théorique. La migration est envisagée au-delà du changement géographique : elle bouleverse les repères spatio-temporels et subjectifs, provoque une désubjectivation mélancolique et ouvre, par l’art, la voie d’une re-subjectivation. L’image-mémoire, conçue comme médium d’incarnation de l’affect, fonctionne comme dispositif d’automédialité où s’entrelacent trace, perte et recomposition de soi. Cette recherche mobilise la phénoménologie, des pratiques artistiques issues de la migration et de l’exil ainsi que les études féministes et queers pour développer un savoir situé et affectif. La thèse se déploie en trois temps : la perte orientant l’abstraction photographique ; le retour à un lieu familier reconfigurant le rapport corps-espace par la documentation vidéographique ; enfin, l’installation et la désidentification comme opérateurs conceptuels de re-subjectivation. L’articulation entre autothéorie et automédialité propose ainsi une théorie située de la subjectivation en devenir, où l’art fabrique le soi, ouvre un espace de résistance et repense l’ontologie et l’agentivité des images dans la construction identitaire. The Memory-Image. Body and Automediality in the Migratory Experience is part of an autotheoretical approach where affect, image, and autographic writing are intertwined with academic research. It analyzes displacement as a revelation of an existential crisis and a trigger for a transformative process, combining lived experience, artistic practice, and theoretical reflection. The migratory experience is considered beyond mere geographical change: it disrupts spatial-temporal and subjective reference points, provokes a melancholic desubjectivation, and through artistic practice, opens the path to a re-subjectivation. The memory-image, conceived as a medium for the embodiment of affect, functions as a device of automediality where trace, loss, and self-recomposition intertwine. This research draws on phenomenology, artistic practices emerging from the experience of exile, as well as feminist and queer studies, to develop a situated and affective knowledge. Three phases are explored: loss, guiding photographic abstraction; the return to a familiar place, reconfiguring the body-space relationship through video documentation; and finally, artistic installation and disidentification as conceptual tools for re-subjectivation. The articulation between autotheory and automediality thus proposes a situated theory of re-subjectivation, where art constructs the self, opens a space for resistance, and rethinks.
