<dcterms:abstract xml:lang="fr">Avec l'essor des technologies lumineuses, nos yeux sont davantage exposés à la lumière bleue (380-455 nm) et aux rayons UV (UVA, UVB), pouvant causer des dommages photochimiques et perturber le rythme circadien. La thèse vise à concevoir des filtres optiques protégeant l’œil de ces rayons. Après un état de l’art sur les principes de filtrage et les méthodes de calcul électromagnétique, un travail expérimental a permis de déterminer avec précision les indices de réfraction des matériaux utilisés par Ophtalmic. Le filtrage par des multicouches diélectriques, déjà exploité pour les revêtements antireflets, a été exploré. Plusieurs algorithmes d’optimisation (moindres carrés amortis, génétique et un algorithme des aiguilles amélioré), implémentés en Matlab, ont servi à concevoir des filtres anti-lumière bleue. Nous avons également caractérisé les filtres après fabrication. Enfin, la faisabilité de filtres utilisant des réseaux de diffraction sub-longueur d’onde en surface a été étudiée.</dcterms:abstract>
<dcterms:abstract xml:lang="en">With the development of light-based technologies, our eyes are increasingly exposed to blue light (380-455 nm) and UV rays (UVA, UVB), which can cause photochemical damage and disrupt circadian rhythms. This thesis aims at designing optical filters to protect the eye from these rays. Following a state-of-the-art review about filtering principles and electromagnetic calculation methods, experimental work was carried out to accurately determine the refractive indices of the materials used by Ophtalmic. Filtering by means of dielectric multilayers, already used for anti-reflective coatings, was explored. Several optimization algorithms (damped least squares, genetics and a specific needle algorithm that we ameliorate), implemented in Matlab, were used to design blue-light filters. We also characterised the filters after fabrication. . Finally, the feasibility of filters using sub-wavelength diffraction gratings structures was investigated.</dcterms:abstract>
