<dcterms:abstract xml:lang="fr">Cette thèse établit une analogie mécanique entre l’espace-temps déformé en champ de gravité faible, et un milieu élastique isotrope transverse doté de torsion géométrique (Einstein-Cartan). Elle prédit des mouvements latéraux des bras d’interféromètres, des polarisations d’ondes longitudinales et un feuilletage de l’espace (ondes gravitationnelles et fond diffus cosmologique). Formellement, un tenseur de contrainte-énergie élastique du vide est introduit. Le modèle associé est un réseau de poutres quantiques. Des modélisations en membranes, coques et en treillis (ondes gravitationnelles) permettent, à partir des déformations mesurées de l’espace-temps, de quantifier les propriétés élastiques du vide : un module d’Young spatial (10³⁸–10⁴⁴ Pa) et un module d’Young temporel (10²⁰–10³¹ Pa), avec coefficient de Poisson égal à 1 dans le plan transverse... Ce cadre offre une interprétation mécanique novatrice de phénomènes physiques inconnus, comme l’énergie noire associée à une courbure thermique et la matière noire assimilée à un fluage viscoélastique de ce milieu fondamental.</dcterms:abstract>
<dcterms:abstract xml:lang="en">This thesis establishes a mechanical analogy between space-time, deformed under a weak gravitational field, and a transversely isotropic elastic medium endowed with geometric torsion (Einstein-Cartan). It predicts lateral movements of interferometer arms, longitudinal wave polarizations, and a foliation of space (gravitational waves and the cosmic microwave background). Formally, an elastic stress-energy tensor of the vacuum is introduced. The associated model is a network of quantum beams. Membrane, shell, and lattice-based modeling (gravitational waves) allow, from the measured deformations of space-time, the quantification of the vacuum’s elastic properties: a spatial Young’s modulus (10³⁸–10⁴⁴ Pa) and a temporal Young’s modulus (10²⁰–10³¹ Pa), with a Poisson’s ratio equal to 1 in the transverse plane... This framework offers a novel mechanical interpretation of previously unknown physical phenomena, such as dark energy associated with thermal curvature and dark matter assimilated to a viscoelastic creep of this fundamental medium.</dcterms:abstract>
