<dcterms:abstract xml:lang="fr">L’analyse des vidéos chirurgicales offre un fort potentiel pour améliorer la pratique clinique,notamment pour l’évaluation des performances et l’assistance peropératoire. À mesure que larecherche progresse vers des tâches de compréhension plus fines, le développement de méthodesefficaces limitant le recours à des annotations manuelles coûteuses devient essentiel. Dans cettethèse, nous proposons un cadre unifié pour la classification fine d’images et de vidéos basé surdes représentations de graphes latents capturant les relations spatiales et temporelles entre objets. Nous introduisons également une approche de généralisation de domaine surpassant les méthodes de référence. Enfin, afin de réduire le coût d’annotation, nous intégrons le modèle de segmentation ouvert SAM à travers une stratégie originale d’adaptation few-shot. Des expériences dans différents contextes montrent les bénéfices de ce cadre pour l’analyse des vidéos chirurgicales.</dcterms:abstract>
<dcterms:abstract xml:lang="en">Surgical video analysis has the potential to greatly improve surgical practice by improving perfor-mance assessment and intraoperative support. As the field advances towards fine-grained tasks,there is a need for effective methods that can be trained without expensive manual annotations. Inthis thesis, we construct a unified framework for fine-grained image and video classification basedon latent graph representations that capture spatial and temporal object relationships. Leveragingour framework, we develop a domain generalization approach that significantly outperformsconventional baselines. Finally, we tackle the annotation bottleneck by integrating the generalistopen-set segmentation model SAM through a novel few-shot adaptation approach. Throughexperiments across numerous settings (in-domain, out-of-domain, data efficiency, label efficiency),we illustrate the benefits of our framework and shed light on how to better approach new surgicalvideo analysis tasks in the future.</dcterms:abstract>
