<dcterms:abstract xml:lang="fr">Cette thèse a pour objectif de formuler des matériaux composites à base de HMX, un explosif puissant mais sensible, et d’ONTA, un explosif moyennement puissant mais peu sensible, dans le but de combiner performances et sécurité. L’association de ces deux explosifs a été étudiée en suivant deux voies principales de formulation : la cocristallisation et l’enrobage en structure cœur-coquille, en utilisant principalement le procédé SFE (Spray Flash Evaporation), permettant d’obtenir des granulométries submicrométriques. Des structures HMX@ONTA ont été formulées et caractérisées. Ces matériaux montrent des valeurs de seuils de sensibilité et des vitesses de détonation intermédiaires à celles des précurseurs. L’abaissement du diamètre critique des compositions leur permet de détoner, y compris en état non comprimé, dans des tubes de 3 mm de diamètre interne, ouvrant un nouveau champ d’applications potentielles.</dcterms:abstract>
<dcterms:abstract xml:lang="en">The aim of this PhD thesis is to formulate composite materials made of HMX, a powerful but sensitive explosive, and of NTO, which is less powerful, but also less sensitive, in order to combine safety and performance. The association of these two explosives has been investigated by following two main formulation ways : cocrystallization, and core-shell structures, and by mainly using the SFE (Spray Flash Evaporation) process. HMX@NTO structures have been produced and characterized. The values of their sensitivity thresholds, and of their detonation velocities are between the ones of their precursors. The decrease of the critical diameter enables the composition to detonate even in loose powders, in tubes with an inner diameter of 3 mm, which opens up interesting application perspectives.</dcterms:abstract>
