<dcterms:abstract xml:lang="fr">Les membranes lipidiques jouent un rôle central dans de nombreux processus biologiques, notamment l’endocytose et l’entrée de certains pathogènes. Cette thèse explore, par une approche principalement expérimentale, les interactions entre particules synthétiques de taille microscopique, passives ou auto-propulsées, et des membranes modèles sous forme de vésicules lipidiques. En faisant varier la taille, la forme, la chimie de surface des particules, la composition des membranes et les propriétés de l’environnement, nous mettons en évidence le rôle fondamental des forces physiques non spécifiques dans les mécanismes d’interaction particule-membrane. Ce travail contribue à une meilleure compréhension des principes biophysiques en jeu, et ouvre des perspectives pour la conception de systèmes biomimétiques en biologie synthétique et en nanomédecine.</dcterms:abstract>
<dcterms:abstract xml:lang="en">Lipid membranes play a central role in many biological processes, including endocytosis and the entry of certain pathogens. This thesis explores, through a primarily experimental approach, the interactions between synthetic microparticles, either passive or self-propelled, and model membranes in the form of lipid vesicles. By varying the size, shape, and surface chemistry of the particles, the membrane composition, and the properties of the surrounding medium, we highlight the fundamental role of non-specific physical forces in governing particle-membrane interactions. This work contributes to a better understanding of the underlying biophysical mechanisms and opens new perspectives for the design of biomimetic systems in synthetic biology and nanomedicine.</dcterms:abstract>
