<dcterms:abstract xml:lang="fr">La prévalence des infections nosocomiales causées par des agents pathogènes multirésistants souligne l’urgence de développer des stratégies antibactériennes alternatives, notamment celles ciblant la formation de biofilms sur les dispositifs médicaux. Cette thèse porte sur la fonctionnalisation de revêtements enzymatiques et polyphénoliques, élaborés par dépôt couche par couche ou en « one-pot ». Des composés antimicrobiens comme l’acide tannique et des enzymes antibactériennes ont été combinés pour concevoir des revêtements multifonctionnels capables d’inhiber la colonisation bactérienne et de prévenir la formation de biofilms via divers mécanismes : dégradation de la matrice extracellulaire, génération de H₂O₂ et libération d’acide tannique. Parallèlement, des revêtements adhésifs bio-inspirés à base d’acide tannique ou de polydopamine ont été développés pour la métallisation écologique des plastiques. Cette étude propose une approche prometteuse pour des surfaces multifonctionnelles à usages biomédicaux et industriels.</dcterms:abstract>
<dcterms:abstract xml:lang="en">The growing prevalence of healthcare-associated infections caused by multidrug-resistant pathogens underscores the urgent need for alternative antibacterial strategies, particularly those targeting biofilm formation on medical devices. This PhD thesis focused on the functionalization of enzyme–polyphenol coatings developed via layer-by-layer and one-pot deposition. Antimicrobial agents such as tannic acid and antibacterial enzymes were combined to design multifunctional coatings that inhibit bacterial colonization and prevent biofilm formation through multiple mechanisms, including extracellular matrix degradation, in situ H₂O₂ generation, and tannic acid release. In parallel, bio-inspired adhesive coatings based on tannic acid or polydopamine were developed to enhance adhesion for plastic metallization, offering an eco-friendly alternative to conventional treatments. This work proposes a promising approach for the design of multifunctional surfaces with biomedical and industrial applications.</dcterms:abstract>
