<dcterms:abstract xml:lang="fr">Cette thèse présente une recherche de violation de charge-parité (CP) dans les désintégrations du boson de Higgs en paires de leptons τ se désintégrant hadroniquement (τ_h), utilisant les premières données Run 3 de l’expérience CMS à √s = 13,6 TeV. Une observable sensible à la violation de CP est construite à partir des plans de désintégration du système τ_h τ_h, exploitant les corrélations de spin. Le taux de mauvaise identification des jets de quarks et de gluons en candidats τ_h est mesuré avec une méthode fondée sur les données. Des techniques d’apprentissage automatique, notamment un Lorentz Boost Network, sont explorées pour améliorer la reconstruction du quadrivecteur des τ_h. Une méthode d’ajustement simultané est développée pour extraire les facteurs correctifs d’identification et d’échelle en énergie des τ_h pour le Run 3. Parallèlement, la mise à niveau du trajectographe pour la phase de haute luminosité du LHC (HL-LHC) est soutenue par la mise en service d’une ligne d’irradiation auprès du cyclotron CYRCé de l’IPHC. La première irradiation d’un module à pixels a validé le dispositif expérimental et les procédures, confirmant la capacité de l’IPHC à conduire un programme d’irradiation de modules.</dcterms:abstract>
<dcterms:abstract xml:lang="en">This thesis presents a search for charge-parity (CP) violation in Higgs boson decays to hadronic τ lepton decays (τ_h) using early Run 3 CMS data at √s = 13.6 TeV. A CP-sensitive observable is built from the decay planes of the τ_h τ_hsystem, exploiting spin correlations. The misidenti- fication rate of quark and gluon-jets as τ_h candidates is measured with a data-driven method. Machine learning techniques, notably a Lorentz Boost Network, are explored to improve the τ_hfour-momentum reconstruction. A simultaneous fit method is developed to extract the τ_h identification and energy scale factors for Run 3. In parallel, the high luminosity LHC (HL-LHC) tracker upgrade is supported by the commissioning of an irradiation beamline at IPHC’s cyclotron CYRCé. The first irradiation of a CROC-V1 pixel prototype module has validated the experimental setup and procedure, confirming the module’s irradiation uniformity and IPHC’s readiness to conduct a module irradiation program.</dcterms:abstract>
