<dcterms:abstract xml:lang="fr">Considéré comme un métal inactif en catalyse homogène dû à son caractère inaltérable, l’or et sa potentielle réactivité sont longtemps restés inexploités. Cependant, ces dernières années, les sels d’or(I) et (III) ont démontrés une forte réactivité en tant qu’acide de Lewis et une application croissante en catalyse en tant qu’activateur d’insaturations. Néanmoins, les alcènes ne subissent pas une activation électrophile aussi efficacement que les alcynes et nécessitent donc des conditions réactionnelles plus dures, ce qui limite leur domaine d’application en catalyse à l’or. Au cours de cette thèse, nous nous sommes concentrés sur la valorisation des alcènes au moyen de transformations catalysées par l’or(I), à travers deux réactions modèles. La première concerne le réarrangement aromatique de Cope, une transformation exigeante en raison de ses fortes barrières d’activation. La seconde porte sur la synthèse d’indoliziniums fonctionnalisés par addition de pyridines sur des alcène non-activés. Enfin, nous avons étudié la synthèse de 4H-quinolizines obtenues par un réarrangement thermique diastéréosélectif de dérivés α-allyl-α-pyridinyl malonates.</dcterms:abstract>
<dcterms:abstract xml:lang="en">Considered as an inactive metal in homogeneous catalysis due to its unalterable property, gold and its potential reactivity long remained unexplored. In recent years, however, gold(I) and gold(III) salts have demonstrated remarkable Lewis acid reactivity and have found an expanding range of applications in catalysis as activators of unsaturated compounds. Nevertheless, alkenes do not undergo electrophilic activation as efficiently as alkynes, and therefore require harsher reaction conditions, resulting in a more limited reaction scope. During this PhD work, we focused on the valorization of alkenes through gold(I)-catalyzed transformations, using two model reactions. The first concerns the aromatic Cope rearrangement, a challenging transformation due to its high activation barriers. The second involves the synthesis of functionalized indoliziniums through the addition of pyridine onto an inactivated alkene. Finally, we studied the synthesis of 4H-quinolizines through a diastereoselective thermal rearrangement of α-allyl-α-pyridinyl malonate derivatives.</dcterms:abstract>
