Transition cruciale vers le solaire et l'éolien, mais leur intermittence nuit à la stabilité du réseau.Cette thèse propose une méthode innovante pour concevoir des stratégies énergétiques, analysant de multiples scénarios et critères (coût, émissions, etc.).Études de cas : Grand Est : Demande faible = mix 100% renouvelable (60-90% intermittent) possible. Demande forte = choix entre renouvelables (économiques) ou nucléaire (compact). Cuba : Autonomie énergétique possible. Optimiser l'intermittence (jusqu'à 140%) minimise coûts/émissions, mais 100% renouvelables impossible.Stockage d'énergie trop coûteux. Flexibilité de la demande complexe. Priorité politique : réduction globale de la demande.</dcterms:abstract>
<dcterms:abstract xml:lang="en">Global energy consumption's reliance on fossil fuels creates major issues: resource depletion and greenhouse gas emissions. Transitioning to renewable energy like solar and wind is crucial, but their intermittency challenges grid stability.This thesis proposes an innovative method to design and evaluate energy strategies, It analyzes many scenarios using many criteria such as cost, emissions, imports, etc.Two study cases are used to illustrate the method: Grand Est (Europe): With low demand, 100% renewable mix (60-90% intermittent) is feasible. With high demand, the choice is between renewables (cheap, land-intensive) or nuclear (costly, compact). Cuba: Energy autonomy is achievable. Optimizing the intermittent share (up to 140%) minimizes costs and emissions, but 100% renewables remain unfeasible.Energy storage is currently too expensive. Demand flexibility is complex to implement. Policy should therefore prioritize overall demand reduction for a faster, more concrete transition.</dcterms:abstract>
