<dcterms:abstract xml:lang="fr">La sismologie environnementale étudie les signaux produits par des structures géologiques telles que glissements de terrain, volcans et glaciers. Les réseaux denses de stations fournissent aujourd’hui des enregistrements très détaillés de la sismicité, mais génèrent des volumes de données si importants que les méthodes d’analyse traditionnelles deviennent insuffisantes. Cette thèse propose des approches d’exploration exhaustive de la donnée, sans connaissance a priori, fondées sur l’apprentissage auto-supervisé et le clustering. En représentant la donnée en images ou en séries temporelles multicomposantes, les méthodes développées permettent de traiter efficacement des jeux de données massifs issus de réseaux denses ainsi que des ensembles multi-environnement. Ces travaux ouvrent de nouvelles perspectives pour l’analyse des données sismologiques et pour une compréhension plus fine et plus globale de la complexité des phénomènes environnementaux.</dcterms:abstract>
<dcterms:abstract xml:lang="en">Environmental seismology studies the signals produced by geological structures such as landslides, volcanoes, and glaciers. Dense station networks now provide highly detailed seismic recordings, but they generate such large volumes of data that traditional analysis methods have become insufficient. This thesis proposes exhaustive data-exploration approaches, with no prior knowledge, based on self-supervised learning and clustering. By representing the data as images or multicomponent time series, the developed methods enable the efficient processing of massive datasets from dense networks as well as multi-environment datasets. This work opens new perspectives for seismic data analysis and for a more refined and comprehensive understanding of the complexity of environmental processes.</dcterms:abstract>
