<dcterms:abstract xml:lang="fr">La déformation associée au mouvement des plaques tectoniques peut être libérée de manière asismique sous forme de glissements lents transitoires(SSEs), dont les mécanismes restent encore aujourd’hui mal compris. À partir de séries temporelles InSAR dérivées d'images Sentinel-1 traitées dans le cadre du projet FLATSIM, cette thèse détecte, caractérise et modélise des SSEs le long de la faille nord-anatolienne (NAF), en Turquie. Un champ de déformation à grande échelle confirme le glissement asismique superficiel le long des segments d'Izmit et d'Ismet pasa. Une méthode de détection automatique, calibrée par tests synthétiques, identifie cinq événements transitoires sur données réelles,de magnitude 4,0 à 4,5. L'analyse détaillée du segment d'Izmit révèle des SSEs superficiels récurrents tous les ~1,3 ans, localisés dans le bassin sédimentaire.Des modèles de friction rate-and-state reproduisent le cycle sismique complet,soulignant le rôle des hétérogénéités frictionnelles superficielles dans la génération des SSEs.</dcterms:abstract>
<dcterms:abstract xml:lang="en">Slow slip events (SSEs) represent a key component of the seismic cycle, yet their driving mechanisms remain poorly understood. Using InSAR time series derived from Sentinel-1 images processed within the FLATSIM project, this thesis detects, characterizes, and models transient slow slips along the North Anatolian Fault (NAF), Türkiye. A large-scale deformation field confirms shallow a seismic creep a long the Izmit and Ismet pasa segments. An automatic SSE detection method, calibrated with synthetic tests, successfully identifies five transient events on real data, with magnitudes ranging from 4.0 to 4.5. Detailed analysis of the Izmit segment reveals shallow SSEs recurring every ~1.3 years,localized within the sedimentary basin. Rate-and-state friction models reproduce the full seismic cycle, highlighting the role of frictional heterogeneities in driving recurrent SSEs. These results suggest that shallow SSEs along strike-slip faults might share common hydromechanical mechanisms with those observed insubduction zones.</dcterms:abstract>
