Les constructions infinitives régies par un verbe de perception Infinitive constructions in frnch governed by a verb of perception Français (langue) Pas de mots clés en anglais 445 440.1 Français (langue) Thèses et écrits académiques Ce travail porte sur les constructions infinitives du français régies par un verbe de perception et s'inscrit au carrefour des approches sémantico-logique, cognitive et syntaxique. D'un côté, l'analyse syntaxique indique que le sujet interprétatif de l'infinitif fonctionne comme le complément d'objet direct du verbe recteur, l'infinitif occupant ainsi dans la complémentation de ce verbe une position non prévue par son schéma actanciel. D'un autre côté, l'analyse sémantico-logique montre que la construction infinitive forme une proposition constituant l'argument final du prédicat principal. Face à ce décalage dans la correspondance syntaxe -sémantique, nous montrons que la discontinuité morphosyntaxique de la construction infinitive n'affecte pas sa constituance. Nous considérons en effet qu'un même actant peut être fragmenté formellement sans que cela implique sa (sub)division en deux nouveaux actants et nous proposons donc de considérer en syntaxe la construction infinitive dans son entier comme l'actant complément du verbe de perception. This study deals with infinitive constructions in French governed by a verb of perception and falls within crossroads of semantico-logical, cognitive and syntactic approaches. On the one hand, syntactic analysis indicates that the interpretative subject of the infinitive acts as the direct object of the principal verb, the infinitive thus occupying, in the complementation of this verb, a non foreseen position by its actantial schema. On the other hand, the semantico-logical analysis reveals the fact that the infinitive construction constitutes a proposition constituting the final argument of the principal predicate. Faced with this syntax semantic discrepancy, it is shown that the morphosyntactic discontinuity of the infinitive construction does not affect its integrity. In fact, it is argued that the same agent can be formally split without implying its (sub)division into two new agents and therefore the idea is to consider, in syntax, the infinitive construction in its entirety as the complement agent of the perception verb.
