Après avoir reconstruit par la relecture du Scorpion d'Albert Memmi les jalons théoriques d'une mise en abyme de la notion d'identité du sujet, nous étudions les impacts d'une appartenance culturelle multiple sur la conception métropolitaine du genre. L'étude du Quatuor algérien d'Assia Djebar nous permettra de jalonner les démarches rhétoriques d'une autobiographie féminine entre écriture et cinématographie, tandis que par l'analyse de l'Ecrivain public de Tahar Ben Jelloun nous envisageons de présenter la déterritorialisation de l'écriture autobiographique face aux valeurs collectives d'une tradition maghrébine de l'écriture. This doctoral thesis explores the inscription of autobiography-writing in literary narration and in the inter-discoursive space of ethnographic discourse through the works of three French-speaking Maghreb authors. The object of the investigation is, on the one hand, to put forward the anomalies of a generic taxonomy and, on the other hand, to present the birth of a minor text-creating practice. The re-reading of Albert Memmi s The Scorpion renders the description of the theoretical frames in which the mise en abyme of the speaker s identity takes place, as well as the investigation of the impact of a multiple cultural identity on the concept of the genre in the homeland . Assia Djebar s Algerian Quator prompts the analysis of those rhetoric procedures in women s autobiography-writing which connect writing and filming. Finally, Tahar Ben Jelloun s The Public Writer yields the investigation of de-territorialisation of autobiography-writing against the Maghreb traditions of writing.
