Description : Médecine (gynécologie-obstétrique), We performed a retrospective study from a cohort of 156 endometriomas managed at the CMCO of Schiltigheim from January 2015 to December 2019. We evaluated recurrences and complications of endometriomas after treatment with cystectomy and ethanol sclerotherapy. We matched variables that could have an impact on these two criteria. There was no significant difference in recurrence between cystectomy with 6 recurrences (23.1%) and ethanol sclerotherapy with 9 recurrences (32.1%) (p=0.46). There was no significant difference between intraoperative (p=0.24) and postoperative (p=0.12) complications. Conclusion: Ethanol sclerotherapy appears to be an innovative technique with similar results to cystectomy in terms of recurrence and complications for the management of ovarian endometriomas
