Résumé(s) : Au cours de son exercice professionnel, le chirurgien-dentiste est fréquemment amené́ à recevoir en consultation des patients porteurs de pathologies endocriniennes. Les hormones thyroïdiennes, ainsi que la parathormone (PTH) ont un rôle important dans la régulation de nombreux processus physiologiques. Cette revue de la littérature s’inscrit donc dans le champ d’investigation actuel portant sur le lien entre santé bucco-dentaire et pathologies systémiques. Ce travail se propose de réaliser dans une première partie, l’étude de la glande thyroïde, des glandes parathyroïdes et des mécanismes d’action des hormones thyroïdiennes et parathyroïdiennes. Dans la deuxième partie, ce travail mettra en lumière les relations entre hormones thyroïdiennes, parathyroïdiennes et parodonte, en particulier les effets de ces hormones sur les structures parodontales. Enfin, la troisième partie s’intéresse aux perspectives thérapeutiques offertes par l’administration de PTH, During his professional practice, the dentist frequently receive patients with endocrine disorders. This work aims to achieve in the first part, the study of the thyroid gland, the parathyroid glands and mechanisms of action of thyroid and parathyroid hormones. In the second part, this work will shed light on the relationship between thyroid hormones, parathyroid hormones and periodontium, especially the effects of these hormones on periodontal structures. The third part focuses on therapeutic possibilities offered by PTH administration
