<dcterms:abstract xml:lang="fr">Les quarks étranges constituent une sonde importante pour la compréhension de la chromodynamique quantique. Ce travail de thèse s'inscrit dans cette perspective ; il porte sur l'étude des baryons multi-étranges Ξ–(dss) et Ω–(sss) dans les collisions inélastiques proton-proton (pp) au LHC. Les analyses sont menées auprès de l'expérience ALICE et concernent les rapidités centrales (y ≈ 0) et basses impulsions transverses (pT &lt; 8,5 GeV/c). Les taux de production par événement de ces baryons sont établis pour les (Ξ– + Ξ+) à √snn = 0.9 TeV et pour Ξ–, Ξ+, Ω– et Ω+, à √snn = 7 TeV. Ils découlent de la mesure de spectres différentiels, d²N / dpTdy = f(pT). Aux deux énergies, une comparaison entre données et modèles phénoménologiques de référence (Pythia et Phojet) est mise en place. Une analyse de corrélations azimutales (Ξ± - h±) est par ailleurs conduite aux pT intermédiaires (2 &lt; pT &lt; 5 GeV/c) dans les données pp à √snn = 7 TeV.</dcterms:abstract>
<dcterms:abstract xml:lang="en">Strange quarks define a valuable probe for the understanding of quantum chromodynamics. The present PhD work falls within this scope; it deals with the study of multi-strange baryons Ξ–(dss) and Ω–(sss) in inelastic proton-proton (pp) collisions at the LHC. The analyses make use of the ALICE experiment and are performed at central rapidities (y ≈ 0) and low transverse momentum (pT &lt; 8,5 GeV/c). The production rates per event of these baryons are drawn for (Ξ– + Ξ+) at √snn = 0.9 TeV and for Ξ–, Ξ+, Ω– et Ω+ at √snn = 7 TeV. They result from the measurement of differential spectra, d²N / dpTdy = f(pT). At both energies, a comparison between data and benchmark phenomenological models (Pythia and Phojet) is performed. Furthermore, an analysis of azimuthal correlations (Ξ± - h±) is led at intermediate pT (2 &lt; pT &lt; 5 GeV/c) for the pp data at √snn = 7 TeV.</dcterms:abstract>
