Description : Operational and Strategic Marketing, We are currently living in a context of global warming and overconsumption of resources. Businesses are more and more looking for innovative solutions in terms of alternative source of energy to bring value to their final users as well. This is why we have developed a high-technology floor that is able to transform kinetic energy, one of the newest emerging sources for renewable energy, into electricity thanks to footsteps. The generated electricity can then be used by the company inside the business. Our company is the link between manufacturers of this particular technology and the companies that wish to implement that in their businesses. We address our B2B product to businesses that operates in transportation, fitness and entertainment industry in France. According to our market research, France is the most suitable country to start our business: the French government has recently claimed the need of installing by 2023 new solutions in terms of alternative source of energy and the arise of new policies to support enterprise working in this green segment. Although the level of kinetic energy potential’s awareness in the country is still low because of the lack of appealable solutions for businesses, French businesses demonstrate to be willing to invest on Eco Floor, especially since it is addressed to places where there is a huge traffic of people, so where the potential of creation of electricity is really high. Furthermore, our product is not only just about the way we re-generate energy from human’s body movement but it can also engage the final users thanks to leisure activities that can be done with it. In order to reach our target customers and to increase awareness and knowledge around our brand, we implement a very specific communication plan for companies that could be interested in the product: we will be present at the biggest innovative events and trade fair that take place every year in Europe and we will write articles and do advertisings in important magazines that talk about technology and green economy. Furthermore, we will implement a strong social media communication strategy to make our product known worldwide. Our company proposes two main products that differ according to the customer. We develop a smart Eco Floor for public spaces and a dance Eco Floor for spare time activities. In addition to that we offer four types of services: delivery and installation, maintenance and reparation, after-sales assistance, data collection and analyses. Indeed, we focus our B2B business model on the link that we are going to create between our customers and suppliers and we privilege diversification of activities over cost leadership. Research and development of solutions as well as data analysis are also the heart of our business. Concerning our revenue stream, we offer both selling and renting solutions. In conclusion, Eco Floor’s financial projections and funding needs are based on key ratios and figures, which make them, quiet realistic. At the same time we are optimistic on our capacity to sell our product efficiently. Indeed our forecast shows a great potential for future years, after a difficult start.
