We examine what option has been chosen by Alfa Bank and compare it with other cases to appreciate the efficiency of the solution chosen. The following document will consist on an introduction explaining the context of the era, the terms - notions and the main protagonists. It will be followed by two parts, one analyzing the different options that could have been chosen and one analyzing the very option Alfa Bank has chosen, compared to a benchmark of other banks in the same situation.
