Description : Administration des entreprises, This thesis explores the strategy department inside an innovative company called DAQRI. Created in 2010, the firm grew very quickly with four start-up acquisitions which brought more expertise inside the company. It enabled DAQRI to work on several projects such as the DAQRI Smart Helmet (DSH), designed to improve business productivity, or a Head-Up Display (HUD) for cars with a very promising projection technology. The purpose of the internship was to create a global strategy for the HUD to bring new possibilities. I developed a three steps strategy based on a precise timeline to bring HUDs from Business to Business sales to Business to Consumer sale very carefully, as the augmented reality acceptance is still a critical point. The study of a few very new technological companies helped me to create a Canvas representation of it. The second mission was the inside study of DAQRI regarding the DSH and its future market launch. An interview series led us to understand that the short and mid-term vision and strategy were mainly understood by all of the employees. The value proposition concept and the open innovation strategy inside the firm were already known at every stage of the organigram. However, the future of the company remained unclear as the start-up environment is always unstable.
