Advances in computer science and computer-aided design have changed these planning steps: physical planning from a few years ago is being supplanted by virtual planning. It is in this model of all-digital flow that the surgical guides are placed, which ensure a considerable gain in precision and intervention time and a reduction in postoperative pain. The advent of 3D printing now allows varied and cost-effective solutions for the manufacture of these guides, which gives hope for a democratization of their use.</dc:description>
